A lot of my childhood during the summer was spent at my Granny's home in a tiny town called Hawkinsville, GA. She had a green thumb and would always make sure the church had fresh flowers. She could grow anything, but what she loved to grow the most was flowers. I'd like to say I inherited my green thumb from her. When it's time to harvest these beautiful blooms I am constantly reminded of her.
The flower farm sits on one acre of our home property in Lakeland, GA. With the help of my husband and 2 kids this humble flower farm has turned into a blossoming business that sells to local farmers markets, florists, and wholesalers.
